We were first engaged for this assignment as expert witnesses. The owners decided to put the building up for sale in late Summer of 2019. After marketing through the pandemic of 2020 the adjacent neighbor approached us with an acceptable offer to purchase. The Seller located on the second floor relocated to first floor. We prepared two leases for the new Buyer with the former owner and another building tenant.
Eric Erickson and Brian Clack from Colliers represented the Seller and Mac Rogers and Jun Magbitang represented the Buyer. The Buyer used an SBA 504 Loan which was provided by First Citizens Bank and TMC.
