Market Polarized, Class A Improves Leaving B & C Behind – The North I-680 Office Market seemed to slip in the third quarter as total vacancy inched up 70 basis points to 16.2 percent. A deeper look into the numbers shows that the market was polarized. The Class A submarkets registered noticeable improvements concentrated in Downtown Walnut Creek and Concord. The Class B and C segments saw significant negative net absorption. Much of the market wide negative absorption was focused in the Shadelands submarket.
