We were engaged to list the property for lease by the lender who foreclosed on the property. The Buyer was a tenant we represented in a previous sale, relocation, and lease renewal. Buyer made an unsolicited offer to purchase the property. This was just prior to the property being listed for sale in a large portfolio by another firm in an auction process. The Seller allowed the offer to compete against the market in the auction, and sold the property separate from the portfolio.
