Effective September 27, 2026
This policy explains what information eastbayoffice.com (the “Site”) collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. The Site is owned and operated by Eric Erickson, Broker Associate, CA DRE #01177336.
You are not required to provide any personal information to browse the Site. Information is collected only when you choose to give it:
Property inquiries. When you submit an inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the property you asked about, and anything you write in the message field.
Forms on our blog and portfolio pages. These pages currently use forms provided by HubSpot. Information you submit through them is collected in our HubSpot account as well as by us.
Newsletter. When you subscribe, we collect your email address.
Appointments. When you schedule a call, you provide your name, email address, telephone number, and any details you enter in the booking form.
Correspondence. If you email or text us, we retain that correspondence and the contact details it contains.
Our web host records standard server log information on every page, including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of each request. This is used to operate and secure the Site.
Beyond that, the Site is not uniform. Our main pages, including the home page, property listings, and space search, load no third-party scripts and set no tracking cookies.
Our blog and portfolio pages are still served by an older platform that uses third-party services:
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — measures how the pages are used. Sets cookies beginning _ga.
HubSpot — provides forms and records how visitors interact with those pages. Sets cookies including hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, and __hssrc.
iubenda — presents the cookie banner and records your choices. Sets cookies including usprivacy and _iub_cs.
accessiBe — provides the accessibility widget.
Google reCAPTCHA — protects forms from automated abuse, subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.
These services are operated by the companies named, not by us, and they may collect information about your activity on this Site and on other websites over time. On those pages a consent banner appears before non-essential cookies are set, and you may accept, decline, or change your choices through it at any time. You may also clear cookies through your browser.
We are in the process of moving these pages onto our main platform. When that is complete, this section will be updated and the cookies described above will no longer be set.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not use it to serve you targeted advertising. The analytics and marketing services described in Section 2 may nonetheless receive information about your visit to our blog and portfolio pages; the consent banner on those pages is how you control that.
We share personal information only as described here:
Service providers. Google Workspace hosts our email. Salesforce hosts our customer relationship records and sends newsletter messages. Microsoft Bookings handles appointment scheduling. HubSpot provides forms and analytics on our blog and portfolio pages. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and are not permitted to use it for unrelated purposes.
Analytics and site services. The services listed in Section 2 receive information about visits to our blog and portfolio pages, as described there.
Colliers. Information handled in the course of brokerage activity is subject to Colliers’ own privacy policy, as described in Section 5.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or a regulatory request, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Eric Erickson is a Broker Associate licensed under Colliers Parrish International Inc, dba Colliers International (CA DRE #00490878). The real estate brokerage services described on this Site are provided through Colliers.
Where information is collected or handled in the course of that brokerage activity, Colliers’ own privacy policy and data practices apply. This includes appointment scheduling, which runs on a Microsoft Bookings account within the Colliers tenant, and client and transaction records once an inquiry becomes an active matter. Colliers’ privacy policy is available at colliers.com/en/privacy-policy.
This Site itself is not operated by Colliers. Information collected through the Site’s inquiry forms, newsletter, and correspondence is held in the systems described in Section 4 and is governed by this policy.
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and we honor those requests. If we begin sending text messages, you may opt out by replying STOP, and message and data rates may apply.
Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages relating to an inquiry or appointment you initiated.
Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, and we do not respond to it differently. The third-party services described in Section 2 may collect information about your activity across websites over time, and we do not control how they treat that signal.
The consent banner on our blog and portfolio pages is the effective control. It recognizes a Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser, and you may also set your preferences there directly.
Inquiry records that do not lead to an ongoing discussion are deleted within two years, in both our customer relationship records and our HubSpot account. Where an inquiry becomes an active client relationship, records are retained for the duration of that relationship and afterward as needed for our business records and for any period required by law or by brokerage recordkeeping obligations.
Cookies set by the services in Section 2 expire on their own schedules, and you may clear them at any time through your browser.
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email eric.erickson@colliers.com or call 925.279.5580, and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be retained where law or recordkeeping obligations require it.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls and reputable hosted services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is intended for commercial real estate professionals and businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. Revisions take effect when posted, and the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be noted on this page.
